Dress Code
We ask members to consider the visual impact of the choir as well as the musical one.
Choir members wear the special OUCC robes so no one needs to bring their own gown. Hoods are worn with these gowns, although not for the Sunday Eucharist. It is essential that clothing which will be visible is sober but not sombre. Please do not regard the robes as 'covers' for casual dress.
N.B. Our robes are NOT academic gowns and are designed to be worn zipped up. Any member who does not comply with this requirement will be very conspicuous and will let down the rest of the choir.
Gentlemen need a dark (grey, blue or black) lounge suit (or smart jacket with dark trousers) plain shirt (white is best), tie (which may be uniform in due course) and dark shoes.
